Hi, my name is Emily Richardson and I have a confession. I LOVE making playlists. From the moment I got my first laptop that had iTunes on it, I have made thousands of playlists for myself, for my friends etc., and literally every mood gets it’s own playlist.
Thankfully, with the invention of Spotify and Apple Music and other music services, I can share my playlists with the ENTIRE world.
So last summer, I was dating this guy. We had been dating for about three months when he broke up with me over Skype, while I was studying abroad. All the break-up playlists on Spotify had songs like “My Heart Will Go On” from the Titanic and other sappy, sad, “I’m going to cry in the shower for 30+ minutes” songs.
And this sucked, because I didn’t want to wallow. I was studying abroad, I wanted to forget him and move on instantly. So I made myself, and now you guys, a boys ain’t sh*t playlist. This playlist is full of songs that you can scream and that will (hopefully) get you through a tough break-up.
