It is very easy to succumb to negative thoughts especially during the prime age of technology. Covetousness is dangerous especially when it comes to our identity and our purpose. Fortunately, It is effortless to manifest the desires of your heart. Whether is your dream career, 4.0 GPA, significant other, car, peace of mind, or even the body you want. You can literally make these things happen. Let’s face it, 2018 was not the best year for many of us, but it was also a quite powerful year for women. We should keep the momentum going in 2019.

Here are three simple ways you can add to your routine to manifest what you want.

1. Journal:

Jotting down your thoughts, feelings, and plans can help you clearly express what you want. Handwriting things can also help you remember things. This is why a lot of professors make pen and paper mandatory for note taking. When you journal, you can find affirming prompts online (my favorite place is Pinterest) to help me get my words out. Writing your vision and making it understandable will hold you accountable.

2. Affirmations:

Thinking and speaking positively about yourself is imperative. Tell yourself that you are beautiful and you love your body. Or tell yourself how intelligent you are. Always celebrate your wins even if they are small and still congratulate others who achieve what you want. A genuine and grateful heart will take you far. It is very important to be kind to yourself if you don’t make your mark it’s okay! You’re not dumb, ugly, incapable.

3. Put it into action:

Everything you want will not just stop you and say “hello, here I am!” You have to put in work! If you want a 4.0 GPA, you can’t act like a 2.0 student. You have to go to class, turn in assignments, go to office hours, etc. Faith that things will happen goes hand in hand with the labor that we do. Don’t be idle! Get up and go after what you want. Another free tip: surround yourself with like-minded people who believe in you. They will keep accountable and want to see you win just as much as you do!

See you in 2019 and remember to stay kind to yourself.
