Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Gill Platek (they/them) is an educator and writer whose work has appeared in Parents Magazine, Xtra Magazine, and Liberal Currents. They received their Master’s in Education from The Ohio State University as well as their bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology, which has contributed to their skill set as a queer, non-binary writer.
